Job Description
Role Context:
This role is structured around measurable commercial performance, combining revenue growth, institutional account management, and strategic market expansion within Tanzania’s pharmaceutical ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy balancing revenue expansion and customer satisfaction
• Identify new markets, client segments, and emerging institutional opportunities
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, NGOs, pharmacy chains, and government entities
• Conduct business meetings, product presentations, and proposal development tailored to client needs
• Drive institutional tender participation and execution
• Maintain accurate sales, revenue, and invoice records with full compliance
• Provide post-sale support, client feedback integration, and retention strategies
• Strengthen long-term client relationships and increase repeat business
• Support internal capability development through training of junior sales personnel
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Monthly revenue target: TZS 204,000,000 with defined gross margin targets
• Revenue growth: 15%–25% annually
• Customer satisfaction score: ≥80%
• Minimum of 8 client meetings per month with ≥40% conversion rate
• At least 5 tailored product/service presentations monthly
• Client retention rate: ≥90%
• Submission of at least 3 tenders per month with 25–35% success rate
• Identification of at least 3 new market opportunities quarterly
Deliverables:
• Growth strategy document within the first 90 days
• Monthly market research and opportunity reports
• Weekly and monthly sales performance reports
• Tender tracking and pipeline management system
• Client feedback logs and post-sale engagement records
• Documented client interaction database and relationship tracking
• Training and development reports for junior staff
